My name is Darcy, and I work as a secretary at an elementary school in my city. Every morning I wake up at 7 o’clock and prepare breakfast for the whole family. While the children are having breakfast, I wash myself and get dressed, and then I go to work. After that, I accompany Eva and Matthew to kindergarten and go to the office. My working hours are from 9 to 17 o’clock with a 1 hour lunch break. Around 13:00 o’clock, I meet with colleagues. We go for lunch and take a walk.
After work, I leave the office and immediately pick up the children from the kindergarten. If we are not tired and there is sunshine, then we spend an hour in the park behind the house. On other days, I go shopping while the children play at home with their father Louis. Around 19:00 o’clock, we all prepare dinner together. Eve and Matthew go to bed around 21 o’clock, and Louis and I like to watch a movie before bed.
Mi día habitual
Mi nombre es Darcy y trabajo de secretaria en la escuela primaria de mi ciudad. Cada mañana me levanto a las 7 y preparo el desayuno para toda la familia. Mientras los niños desayunan, me lavo y me visto para ir a trabajar. Luego acompaño a Eva y Mateo a la guardería y voy a la oficina. Mi horario de trabajo es desde las 9 de la mañana hasta las 5 de la tarde con una hora de descanso para el almuerzo. A eso de las 13:00 me encuentro con colegas. Vamos juntos a almorzar y a dar un paseo.
Después del trabajo salgo de la oficina e inmediatamente voy a recoger a los niños. Si no estamos cansados y hace sol, pues pasamos una hora en el parque detrás de la casa. Otros días voy de compras mientras los niños juegan en casa con su padre Lui. A eso de las 7:00 de la noche todos juntos preparamos la cena. Eva y Mateo se van a dormir alrededor de las 9 de la noche, en cuanto a mí y Lui nos gusta ver una película antes de dormir.
