Je m’appelle Darcy et je travaille comme secrétaire dans l’école primaire de ma ville. Chaque matin, je me lève à 7 heures et je prépare le petit-déjeuner pour toute la famille. Pendant que les enfants prennent leur petit-déjeuner, je me lave et m’habille pour aller travailler. Ensuite, j’emmène Eva et Matthew au jardin d’enfants et je vais au bureau. Mes heures de travail sont de 9 h à 17 h, avec une pause de déjeuner d’une heure. Vers 13 heures, je retrouve mes collègues. Nous sortons ensemble pour déjeuner et nous promener.
Après le travail, je quitte le bureau et vais directement chercher les enfants. Si nous ne sommes pas fatigués et qu’il y a du soleil, nous passons une heure dans le parc derrière la maison. D’autres jours, je vais faire du shopping pendant que les enfants jouent à la maison avec leur papa Louis. Vers 19 heures, nous préparons le dîner tous ensemble. Eva et Matthew vont se coucher vers 21 heures et Louis et moi, nous aimons regarder un film avant de nous coucher.
My usual day
My name is Darcy, and I work as a secretary at an elementary school in my city. Every morning I wake up at 7 o’clock and prepare breakfast for the whole family. While the children are having breakfast, I wash myself and get dressed, and then I go to work. After that, I accompany Eva and Matthew to kindergarten and go to the office. My working hours are from 9 to 17 o’clock with a 1 hour lunch break. Around 13:00 o’clock, I meet with colleagues. We go for lunch and take a walk.
After work, I leave the office and immediately pick up the children from the kindergarten. If we are not tired and there is sunshine, then we spend an hour in the park behind the house. On other days, I go shopping while the children play at home with their father Louis. Around 19:00 o’clock, we all prepare dinner together. Eve and Matthew go to bed around 21 o’clock, and Louis and I like to watch a movie before bed.
